The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
I liked how nice (mostly) all of the betreuers were. Specially Anne and Francesca. They were very caring and interested in our well being.
However, mostly none of the betreuers spoke to us in german which made it hard for me to learn the language outside of class. After all, we did come to this camp to learn german.
The after class activities were good, however we didn’t get to visit the city in depth. We only spent 5 mins in the Berlin wall and we didn’t even get to see the jew memorial, Brandenburg Tür, Fernsehen Tür or Postdam. Also, we had to take a lot of S Bahns and buses to get to the center of Berlin, even though the camp is called Berlin City CENTER. This made it hard for us to visit anything or anyone in our free time, as we lost time while going there and couldn’t spend much with them.
I also found it quite strange that we had to go to sleep (or be in our room without making noises) at 10:30, since you couldn’t stay at a friends room watching a movie or whatever without annoying any other guests.
Finally, I would like to say that I had a lot of fun with the people here, that is why I would appreciate if we did something in the evening activity on Sunday. Last year (in Blossin) we did lots of activities that made us get to know each other better, and we had a lot of fun doing them.
